New CTMH Products!!!

First off, I would like to apologize for the lack of posts on here. I will try to keep up better. August 1, 2012 brings some exciting changes to the Close To My Heart product line. I am still getting more information in about the changes but I will share with you what I know so far. 1. A new Close To My Heart Exclusive Cricut Cartridge "Artiste". This is in addition to the existing "Art Philosophy" cartridge. Artiste has over 600 images and comes with 3 coordinating stamp sets and 3 sheets of Dimensional chipboard Elements. While I LOVE the "Art Philosophy" cartridge, "Artiste" is designed to be more user friendly, for example, all of the holiday themed shapes can be cut out using the same key. (This concept is much easier to explain in person, showing the cartridge demo) Each cartirdge is $99 plus tax and shipping and it is well worth every penny!! You can order the Art Philosophy at any time, but Artiste will not be available until Aug 1. You can pre-order Artiste (with payment) anytime before Aug 1 and I will give you $5 off. Or you can order both Art Philosophy and Artiste (regular price $198 plus tax and shipping) for only $188 (plus tax and shipping)! All orders of $150 or more qualify for a minimum of $25 in FREE products. 2. A new "How-To" Guide. As it was announced by the company back in February, all of the current How To Guides have been retired and discontinued. These were the Magic, Cherish, Wishes, Originals and Imagine books. However, CTMH is releasing a new publication called "Make It From the Heart". They are $7.95 (plus tax and shipping) and in the upcoming Idea Book (catalog) it is listed as "Volume 1" (I am assuming it means that in the following Idea Book it will be "Volume 2") This guide has 16 two-page layout patterned, 2 single-page patterns and 12 different card patterns. 3. A new Color Palette. The color palette is going to be composed of 40 colors plus White Daisy and Colonial White. I do not have a list of the new colors yet, but I hope to have the names, with pictures, posted by the beginning of next week. The colors will be broken down into 4 groups of ten. They are called Whimsy, Enchantment, Adventure and Basics. The colors will be available in cardstock, markers and ink pads. Which brings me to... 4. New PIGMENT Inkpads and Alcohol Markers The pigment inks are available in sets of 10 pigment cubes, one collection for each catergory of paper. The alcohol based markers will be sold in pairs, one base and one shade; for each of the 40 colors in the color palette. They can be blended for an even larger variety of colors, do not require special paper (although they do bleed through so it is recommended that you use them with a piece of "junk" paper under your project as not to mar the surface you are working at) and have rigid tips. 5. New Organizers The first organizers in the new line are a small and medium case. The small case can be fitted with a foam insert for either blocks or small craft boxes (available separately). The medium case includes removeable dividers. I am sure there is more stuff that I am forgetting to include, but I will keep this updated with new information as it becomes available. More CTMH Cricut Creations

I only had about 20 minutes yeterday to play with the new "Art Philosophy" Cricut cartridge from Close To My Heart, so I didn't get much made. However, I did do a 3 inch Christmas Tree, 2 different 3 inch snowflakes (I inked over both with my CTMH White Daisy and on one of them I used a little bit of CTMH Liquid Glass) I also was curious what the box looked like. I think it is really neat, although the 3 inch size that I cut isn't really practical for putting anything in! Hope you enjoy these pictures! I will try to create some more tonight to post tomorrow; until then, Happy Scrapping!

More Cricut Creations

So since I have a baby that is not quite a year old, I have plenty of extra empty wipes boxes. I also have the need to be very organized as he takes a lot of my time and energy and he is becoming more mobile every day. I decided that I should somehow use these two facts and make them work together. As you can see from my photos above, I came up with at least one solution. I used the CTMH "Art Philosophy" Cricut Cartridge to cut out letters to form the words "CTMH Blocks". I then used CTMH Liquid Glass to adhere the letters to the box. It works perfect for storing my CTMH My Acrylix Stamp Blocks!

Creations Using the New CTMH Cricut cartridge

These are some pictures of a bag that I made using the Close To My Heart "Art Philosophy" Cricut cartridge. You have so many different options using this cartirdge. I chose a red paper (non CTMH), and cut it in the 6 inch size. It has marks showing you exactly how to fold it into a bag. I used CTMH Liquid Glass to adhere it. I then used some green paper (non CTMH) and the same Cricut cartridge to cut a 3 inch stocking. I used CTMH Silver Embossing Powder for the "fluff" part of the stocking and adhered it to the front of the bag. I will post again when I finsh them, but I am thinking ribbon or something aroung the top and then filling it with little treats (candy, home-made cookies or something like that). Great little inexpenxive easy Christmas gifts for co-workers or friends.

Close To My Heart Art Phiolsophy Cricut Cartridge

If you have not seen the NEW Close To My Heart "Art Philosophy" Cricut Cartridge then you are in for a treat! This cartridge has over 700 images (tags, envelopes, bags, borders, fonts, etc) that you can cut in a variety of sizes. I just recently got mine (on this past Friday, I haven't had much time to play with it yet)and I am in LOVE with it! For only $99 plus tax and shipping, you have a FANTASTIC cartridge, plus 3 coordinating My Acrylix stamp sets and 3 pages of dimensional elements. As a fellow CTMH consultnat figured up (Thanks for the info, Mandy Leahy)she has 5 different sized circle punches, purchased from various sources. By her calculations, she spent around $80 on these punches. That is only 5 sizes of the circle shape for less than $20 difference in the price of the new Cricut Cartridge!!! So it is definately a GREAT deal! As I use mine more, I will post pictures, just in case this hasn't convinced you yet!! Contact me today to order yours! For every cartridge I sell during October 2011 (Breast Cancer Awareness Month) I will donate $2 to breast cancer research. It's a win-win!
